Choose to hold your cocktail reception on the covered outdoor patio. Indoors in the designated pre-function area. Or both!

The patio wraps around both floor-to-ceiling glass walls of the space to comfortably accommodate large guest counts. And to ensure there is an opportunity for a grand reveal, translucent curtains have been installed to conceal the event space before guests are invited inside.

Indoors, you'll find similar mosaic motifs to the church's facade interwoven in the carpet - as well as in the striking and grand doors that lead into the event hall.

JULIAN LEAVER, GROOM & BIZ BASH TOP 500 WEDDING PLANNER

“We love the contemporary concrete, cool tones, and airy feel. For the sake of ease, I wanted to have both our ceremony and reception in the same location and eliminate the need for travel between sites. One of the things that I loved about Hall of Lights is that it had plenty of space for both our tented ceremony and seated reception.”

Based on a replica of a 7th century Armenian church, St. Sarkis is the epitome of old and new worlds coming together as one. With its impressive combination of thematic ideals and decor, it is both strikingly current and timeless.

Perhaps its most striking feature, though, is its exterior facade.

Stand far enough back from the entrance of the church, and you'll notice the design of a large cross. Move a bit closer, and you'll see various biblical motifs. Finally, make your way towards the entrance, and you'll discern the 1.5 million individual iconographic symbols that commemorate Armenian history and culture.

Church design

Hold your ceremony in front of the church's exterior, the Plaza of Angels, and use its artistic facade as your backdrop. Or choose the outdoor Magnolia Amphitheater that accommodates 300 guests.

In case of inclement weather, all outdoor spaces may be tented.*

"The food was excellent: exactly what we were expecting from the tasting. Everyone I talked to enjoyed the dinner and frequently commented it was far and above the best 'wedding food' they'd had."
